A Longcase clock  By Garratt of York, oak and  mahogany long case clock with rosewood and boxwood inlay and swan neck pediment, with  turned columns and brass capitals to the hood  the  13 “ dial has  Roman numerals with  date and a seconds subsidiary dial  flowers and shells painted in the corner and a regal lady sitting on a gilded couch , the four pillared movement is of eight day duration  and strikes the hour and the half hour on a bell.
